You can’t go back and change your situation, but you can learn the facts so that you can make an informed choice. Because having the right to choose also includes being informed of your choices.

So what are your choices?

Abortion: If you choose to get an abortion, you won’t have to tell anyone that you are pregnant, you won’t have to worry about caring for the baby financially or physically, and you will be able to go on with your life and pursue your dreams. This may seem like the answer to your problems. However, with every choice comes a consequence. You have to put yourself in the future and consider the physical, psychological, and emotional complications that could occur after an abortion. These complications can happen in one out of every 100 early abortions and in about 1 out of every 50 later abortions. Are you willing to take the chance?

Click here for more information about the different types of abortion and their risks.

ADOPTION: Adoption is an opportunity to share your child with a caring family that desperately wants a child, and you can still pursue your dreams. There are two types of adoption that are available:

Open adoption: You can choose to meet the adoptive family and share in your child's life.

Closed Adoption: You can choose to have no contact with the adoptive family and cannot get in touch with each other because all of your information is kept confidential. Only "non-identifying" health and social information is shared with the adoptive family.

PARENTING: There are community resources out there to help you financially and emotionally. We have information on the following resources:

  • State insurance for you and your baby
  • Health Care
  • Parenting classes
  • Housing
  • Food
  • Child Care
  • Education
  • Rent Assistance
  • Mental Health
